Nursery/Preschool Information

Sunday Morning

9:30-10:45  Sunday School
10:45-12:00  Extended Session

Infants through 2 years old are cared for in our nursery located on the first floor of the West Tower. Nursery Care is provided each Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 am. Vibrating pagers are assigned to parents in the event your child needs you or a nursery volunteer has a question. Preschoolers, 3 year olds through Kindergarteners, enjoy learning Bible truths through crafts, arts, and play during the 9:30 Sunday School hour. Preschoolers are cared for during the Worship hour in their same classrooms. Preschoolers are encouraged to explore the centers and activities prepared for them that will reinforce the day’s Bible story. Our Nursery and Preschool volunteers provide your child with a safe, comfortable, and loving environment as they demonstrate Christ’s love in caring for your children. You may enjoy your time in Sunday School and Worship knowing that your children are being cared for.

Sunday Evening Childcare

Sundays at 5:00-6:30

Childcare for nursery and preschool aged children is offered on Sunday Evenings. Parents in Ministry Team Meetings, Divorce Recovery, or other activities can utilize the childcare. Games, activities, and centers are available for your child to explore. A dedicated team of volunteers rotate throughout the year to provide this ministry.

Wednesday Evening Preschool Choir

Wednesdays 6:00-7:00

Wednesday evenings, the preschool children join with the elementary children for “Art in the Scriptures. The children enjoy a time of expressing their faith through art. Each week we read a scripture passage or Bible story and then creatively represent the scripture through a variety of art mediums.

Special Events

Through the year, special events are held for the nursery and preschool children. In the fall a preschool pajama party is held. During the spring a family day at the zoo is held. Other events include Christmas celebrations, Easter celebrations, Halloween neighborhood party, and Family Fun nights through the year.
